Victor and Patsy Franek, are both Houston natives and have spent the better
part of the last 20 years serving up Northwest Houston’s best home cooking at
their former location, The Bake Shop and
Café. Eager to enjoy more time at their bay house in Palacios, Texas they
sold The Bake Shop and Café and moved
to where they will eventually retire.
Bringing their restaurant experience and son Marty with them, they opened their new endeavor in the former home of the Texana Grill. They renamed the restaurant Texas Traditions Grill & Bakery paying homage to the family friendly food they are known for in the restaurant business. This newest labor of love began in August 2010 and with the help of their four (yes, four!) boys, Vic and Pat transformed the 100 year old building on 234 E. Main Street to the soon to be famous Texas Traditions Grill & Bakery.
Enjoy our cakes, pies, Signature Ding
Dong and Jack Daniel's Pecan Pie for dessert or take out. We serve 4 different
flavors of the cheesecake factory cheesecakes. A huge salad bar with all the
fixin’s, "scraps" and many other hot dishes are available, along with
seafood items like The Seafood Platter and Patsy’s Stuffed Crab Platter. Enjoy
made fresh daily soups, sandwiches and grilled items that give you enough
selection to make Texas Traditions Grill & Bakery a great lunch spot or
provide quality, affordable dinner for your family! We look forward to serving
Port Lavaca and earning your business. Bring your family to try the best home
